Infantry When he enlisted in Lethbridge, on Nov 22, 1915 his wife lived at 1605 3rd Ave. N, Lethbridge AB Occupation- Moulder He married Mary Wetherall, bet Jan-Mar 1905 in Thirsk Roy George Smyth born- 1924 died- Feb 5, 1947, age 21 Canadian Army Ernest Edward Horne, born- Aug 1, 1892, in Great Tew, Oxfordshire, England died- Oct 16, 1955 6th Batt. Infantry Dec 23, 1914 he enlisted in Winnipeg MB, shown as a farmer His mother Mrs. Caroline Horne, next of kin, living at East Banbury Oxfordshire, England. Interesting enough there is a man listed on the Burnaby BC Roll of honour with the same name, same man? It appears his wife Winnifred died in 1932 in Winnipeg there are 3 more Horne graves here, Ethel Gertrude Horne, his daughter, is one, age 1 yr, 8 mo, who tragically died by falling into a container of boiling water. Arthur Nelson born- Sept 1858 in England died- Jan 6, 1936, age 77 buried May 17, 1936 Service in 91st Brigade Riel Rebellion He was a member of the Bienfait Legion, and was declared the oldest Legionnaire in Saskatchewan, just prior to his death. 1911 census shows him as a Machine Agent in Bienfait, living as a lodger with Valentine Doerr. On my Bienfait ads page Arthur Nelson was an Insurance agent, and Notary Same Arthur? imagine so. My grandparents moved their family to the Arthur Nelson farm near Steelman, and would imagine this was this man's farm originally P. Lived in Drumheller AB when he enlisted, his mother Mrs. David Ellis lived in Bienfait. His occupation is listed as a miner. Wilbur (Wilburt?) C. Enmark, reg# 2188570, C.E.F. born- Oct 19, 1885, in Chicago Ill, USA, died- Feb 8, 1963, age 76. Lived in Bienfait when he enlisted. His mother Mrs. Elizabeth Gilles lived in Bienfait.
