but history books say it was named after a Canadian Poet / Writer?
Eleanor Luxton, (1908-1995) granddaughter of William,
wrote a book on Banff, so could be named for her?

Located 1 mile south from Lampman, and Minard

Located on Canadian Northern Railway Branch line south to Kingsford, then Bienfait, and Estevan
Later changed to Canadian National Railway. built in 1909 and called the Bienfait Branch, 16.4 miles
