Auburnton

Auburnton, Saskatchewan, Canada

Part of my Dad's 1927 Map

Unincorporated Locality

Located on Section 16, Township 5, Range 1, W2 (in 1905 )
Location- Section 21, Township 5, Range 1, W2

Latitude- 49° 24′ 0″ N
Longitude- 102° 5′ 2″ W

Located on Highway 603

Today 2018, virtually a ghost town West of Alida

Somewhere on Township 5, Range 1, W2, I think, as that is where Charles Pate lived when he enlisted in WWI.
Which makes sense, since Auburnton Creek runs right thru this Township, north to south

School shown near this area on 1927 map above
Arthur School #593- NE Section 21, Township 5, Range 1, W2

Had a Canadian Legion Branch 229 located here

In 1949 they were trying to get a Masonic Lodge located here.
