Origin of the Name Elcott is unknown to me.
I would assume named after a member of the GTPR but nothing found to prove it.

Located on the Northgate-Regina CNR Line 3 miles North of Northgate and US border

Today nothing but a couple groves of trees here.
Not even a sign off highway 9 to mark the spot.
Across the highway is an oil pump jack, with tank.

1929 T. E. Austin was the Pool Elevator buyer at Elcott.
Alexander Chilton was another Pool Agent here.

The Searle Grain Company operated here, ca 1955, and this company later became the Federal Grain Company
Harry Owen Clow was Elevator Manager ca 1955-59
