One of the First Europeans to enter into an area in Canada, were the Land Surveyors. Either to Survey the Townsites, along the new Railroad, or the Railroad Grade itself. This Page is dedicated to these men, that endured many hardships, doing their job. Pictures on this page were taken early 1900's by an Amateur Photographer, not a Pro hired by the Railroad. He very well could have been a surveyor himself.
