1920 ND., USA census, Martin worked on the Railroad there.
Apr 22, 1920 He arrived in North Portal SK. from ND.
Came to work on the railroad at Terrace.
He homesteaded where Cramer St. is today.

John R. “Wally” Humphrey

Wally was a sign painter with his own shop in Prince George.
Besides Water colours and oils, he painted many signs, on the side doors of Logging trucks, etc.
Before computer and stick on signs, these were all done by hand.
