Steamships

Steamships were the means of transportation from the South of BC to the North.
There was no railroad connection, to most of the north, so only way for Settlers, Prospectors, and Business Men, to get to places like Prince Rupert,
or Port Essington area, was on these steamships.
I have researched the few that I have photos or postcards for. There was a multitude of them. Many companies operated their own ships.
Some of the ships I list, were Atlantic Ships, most on the Pacific Coast of BC.

Most were built in United Kingdom area.
