As the Name Implies it was located 4 1/2 miles south of Alameda SK
and SE a couple miles from “Old Alameda”, the James Walsh Store Location, on North Half of Section 20, Township 3, Range 2, W2

Apr 26, 1887 the first meeting was held to elect the First Trustees for this School District
James S. McCaughey, Joshua Seaton, and Peter McDonald were elected

May 20, 1887 this School District was legally proclaimed.
Official Name- Alameda Protestant Public School District No 96 of the North-West Territories.
