Family Immigrated in 1906 to Canada from Norway Homestead application- 534977 Gustav Nygren, NE Section 34, Township 1, Range 8, W2 age 42 he applied for American Naturalization, at Snohomish WA, shown as a Carpenter, May 12, 1920 son of Johannes Nygren and Greta Olsdotter wife- Clara J. Nygren, nee Hoidahl b- Nov 10, 1873 Norway d- May 14, 1939 Snohomish WA buried Grand Army of the Republic Cemetery, Snohomish, WA 1911 family living on homestead daughter- Augot Nygren, b- Aug 1902 in Norway son- Alf Nygren, b- July 1903 in Norway daughter- Esther Nygren, b- Nov 1907 in SK daughter- Sarah Nygren, b- Apr 1911 in SK daughter- Ellen Elvira Nygren, b- 1913, d-May 27, 1950 daughter- Margaret Andrea Carlson Nygren, b- ? son- S. Rudolph Nygren, b- ca 1917 in SK disclaimer- there is some confusion with the district #977 here, the map says this is the number but the gazette says that belongs to East Lyme School? so not sure if this one is correct. also had 2 Nygren Schools on old 1927 map so confusion there as well.
