Buried in Ross Bay Cemetery, Victoria BC First Command, Steamer Tees, then the “SS Marquinna”, before the “SS Princess Norah”. Left his home about 35 years before he died. 1901 he was on a ship in Victoria, as 2nd mate, Master of the same ship was Otto Bucholtz. Father- Charles Gillam b- England Mother- Mary Gillam, nee ? b- England Married Betty Buchholtz, Mar 30, 1904, in Victoria BC b- ca 1870, Swinemuende, Germany, age 34 when married, age 51 in 1921 d- May 3, 1937 in Victoria, age 68 Immigrated in 1897 per 1921 census shown as a dressmaker in 1903 in Victoria daughter of Carl Buchholtz and Minna Kiehn they had 3 daughters and a son.
