The only reason we have carried them forward is I might have missed some info in the transfer / transition period.

Note- These web pages cover only the European, Asian and American History of this area, over the last hundred years or so. I will leave the First Nations to record and publish their own history, as I have limited information available to me, and I am not First Nation Ancestry, so have no right to do that. The term “Indian” is used in my site, where it is the historically accurate term, in regards to job titles etc., and is not meant in any derogatory way. If the term is being quoted from a book, census form, etc, then it will be written in my pages that way. I don't personally agree with the way the Europeans came and took over this land, but unlike what some think, you can not erase history. You learn from history so the mistakes are not made again. Just as it is extremely important to have a record of First Nation history in Canada, I also feel these other men and women need their history saved. This is the purpose of my web page.
