It was at B. M. Jones place per Oxbow history book, page 18, located on the Meridian line.
Just north of the Souris River NWMP Post at the US/Canada border.

In 1885 B. M. Jones applied for a Post Office at Sec 24, Township 1, Range 1, W2 when Oxbow was chosen.
