when the Grand Trunk Railroad was constructed.

1918- Price per acre, 4 miles from Huntoon, was $13 per acre

Origin of the Name
The Hamlet was named after a Foreman, who supervised the construction of that section of
The Grand Trunk Railroad track thru this area.
