Lot 13- #1109- Daniel Joseph Rooney family lived here in 1921. b- age 41 in ON, He was a Veterinarian. Wife- Francis Rooney, b- age 41 in ON, son James Edward Rooney, and 2 daughters, Rose Rooney and Gertrude Rooney.

Lot 15- #1117- Max Berman lived here in 1921, b- age 43, in Russia, occupation Blacksmith in his own shop.

Lot 19A- #1133 - NE Corner of 12th Ave.- Condo complex (2017)
Historical Walking Tour Booklet says this corner lot was 1137 2nd St.
Stirling Baptist Church was located here. Baptist Congregation was formed in Estevan in 1908. The Church was built in 1909, with the help of a donation from a Baptist Congregation in Stirling Scotland.

Lot 24- #109 12th Ave.- St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church
Historical Walking Tour Booklet says this is 1138 2nd st.- Original Church was a frame building built in 1903, in 1914 the Salvation Army bought the building and moved it. It was moved again to Macoun and used as a Roman Catholic Church there.
1914 work began on a new church but due to wars etc, the basement was the only thing completed until the 1950's. (see Baptist Church Picture above) In 1955 the Church was built.

#1110 2nd st- In 1921 George Smallshaw family lived here. He was the Janitor of Central School in 1921. He was age 47, b- in England. He immigrated in 1911. Wife- Christine, Son Fred, and daughter Christine.
Lot 9- #1106- Ernest Frederick Pierce family lived here in 1921, b-Jan 1886, in ND, USA, wife- Grace Pierce, b- age 36 in Quebec, daughter- Elenor Pierce, son Frank Lawrence Pierce, both born in SK. Ernest Pierce was the Manager of Saskatchewan Government Telephone Co. in Estevan, as early as 1911 to at least 1921. He immigrated in 1907. I see a Dr. Frank Pierce lived in Estevan at one point.
