Sept 1961 they were planning this new $78,000, 4 room, elementary school

The Last Hillside School was located at 637 Eva St.

Built in 1962, Addition added in 1965.

Gym on the Last School was named after Mr. Doug Third, former Principal of both schools
The Gym was added on in 1977

The last Hillside School on Eva St.

The last Hillside School Closed June 27, 2003
Became a Christian School, Temporarily

Update Aug 2009
Sad to say this whole school is gone.
The only good news is the Doug Third Gymnasium was saved, and was moved near Woodlawn Park, just west of the Souris Valley theatre.
Now it is called Doug Third Park, a fitting tribute to a great man.
