First Hope School, NW Section 10, Established in 1888

Mar 6, 1903 they altered the sections included in the District
It was called the the Hope Protestant Public School District #117

Mar 8, 1888 they held their first meeting at the home of Samuel Dawson
Elected Trustee- Samuel Dawson, James Henderson, and Walter Bush

Sept 3, 1888 they received permission to apply for a $300 loan to build a school house. Yes a whole $300!
