Oil Well at Rosswood BC?

I have heard of many mineral claims in that area, but never an oil well.

Aug 1, 1921 Kitsumgallum Basin Petroleum Company Ltd, was formed to search for oil in the area.

Oil Seepages were found on the property years before, but never an attempt to prospect it or promote a company to drill for it.

Oil was expected at 1500 to 2000 ft.

The Company had control of about 8 sections there.

C. F. Schaub (Charles Franklin Schaub) promoted the company
b- age 39 in 1921, in US, immigrated in 1919, Dutch living in Terrace found a telegraph operator b- Aug 25, 1881 same fellow I don't know.

He had a wholly Local Directorate:

• S. T. Finnegan, (Stephen Thomas Finnegan), Terrace , b- abt 1884, age 37 in 1921, in USA, immigrated in 1911, Irish, shown as Secretary of the company in 1921
